Oke Are ’05 Set — Financial records

Where the Set’s money is

“The objective is to ensure that members know how funds are being managed without compromising anyone’s privacy.” Section 11 — Financial transparency
Section 1

Balance

Total funds held

Awaiting the first published report

The Set’s funds are held as one balance and accounted for in four parts, following the allocation in Section 9.2 of the constitution. The split is an accounting view of a single pot, not four separate accounts.

Section 2

The quarter

The eight lines Section 11 requires of a quarterly report, and nothing more. Money in is shown as received, money out as spent.

Significant outstanding commitments

Approved expenditure not yet paid out. The Set treats ₦50,000 as the threshold for “significant”, matching the first approval band in Section 10.3 — the constitution does not define it.

    No outstanding commitments recorded
    Section 3

    Contributions

The minimum quarterly due is ₦5,000 per member — a floor, not a fee. Members who wish to contribute more may do so, and anything above the minimum is treated as general Set funds unless the member says otherwise (Section 9.3).

    Contributions received this quarter

    Awaiting the first published report

This page reports totals only. No member is named, ranked or listed here as having paid or not paid.

That is deliberate. Section 9.4 provides that no member shall be publicly shamed or unnecessarily singled out for failure to contribute, and Section 9.5 asks the Set to prioritise understanding over enforcement. Members experiencing difficulty are encouraged to speak to the Financial Group privately.

    Section 4

    Recent activity

Each movement of money, by category and amount. Names are not shown: Section 11 provides that individual welfare recipients need not be identified unless they have expressly agreed to it, and the same restraint is applied to contributors.

      No activity published yet
      Section 5

      How dues are split

Every ₦5,000 due is allocated across four purposes. These shares are the suggested allocation in Section 9.2, and Section 14 requires the Set to review them at least once a year — so they may change, and past quarters keep the shares that applied at the time.

      Where each ₦5,000 goes

      Current allocation

      Welfare & Emergency ₦3,000
      Social Activities ₦1,000
      Reserve / Sustainability ₦750
      Administration ₦250
      Section 6

What we publish, and what we do not

The constitution requires the Financial Group to report to members at least quarterly (Section 11). It neither requires nor forbids publishing those figures more widely. This page shows aggregates only, on the view that transparency about the fund does not require exposure of any individual.

      Shown here:

      • The total balance, and how it divides across the four funds.
      • The eight report lines Section 11 prescribes.
      • Totals received, and how many members have contributed in a quarter.
      • Each movement of money by category, amount and date.

      Never shown here:

      • The identity of anyone who has received welfare support, unless that member has expressly agreed (Section 11).
      • Any member’s payment record, whether paid or outstanding (Section 9.4).
      • The nature of any individual welfare case (Sections 6.4 to 6.7 and 10.2).
      • Bank details, member contact details, or supporting documents.

Questions about any figure on this page should go to the Financial Group, which holds the underlying records.
